🎉 New Email Feature – Reply To in Send Email form field

We’ve just rolled out a new enhancement to the Send Email form field: the ability to set a Reply To address for rich (HTML) emails.

What this means

  • When recipients hit reply in their email client (e.g. Outlook), you can now control exactly who it will be addressed to.

  • This only applies to rich emails sent through Process Street. Plain text emails that use mailto: links are unaffected.

  • The Reply To field can use:

    • Variables

    • Hardcoded addresses

    • Or a combination of both (just like To, CC and BCC)

Why it matters

  • Works seamlessly with Custom Sender Domain, so replies can flow back to the same address shown in the From field.

  • Allows replies to go to someone other than the sender, especially when sending via automations.

  • Gives you more flexibility and professionalism in managing communications sent via Process Street.

Technical Notes

  • When using the Reply To field, this will override the current default which is to set it the user who sent the email (although you can use the current user variable to simulate it if needed).

  • There is no restriction on what it can be set to (you could even set it to bill.gates@microsoft.com if you wanted).
